Bring A New Outlook And Re-Vitalize An Old Situation

By Bob Proctor

There will be a time in a person's life when you outgrow certain things and you want more. There is nothing wrong with that. In fact, it is the dissatisfaction of the ordinary that will bring in a new outlook and change your life.

Look at your life right now. What makes you frustrated and discontent? For a lot of people it is their financial and career goals which are important aspects in life. If it is quality of life you want, you need to resolve this because it is closely intertwined with your personal life as well.

What do I mean? Not only does your job provide you with the money to buy the things you need; the right career goals will give you fulfillment and purpose in life. Too often we think too little of our professions as only what we need to do to survive- if we think like this we are missing out on enjoying quality of life beyond what we expect.

Ponder for a moment about certain areas in your life that needs a face lift. List down all the associations you have with that particular area. What you have is the paradigms that dictate your thoughts, feelings and behavior that you may not even know you are operating on.

For example, notice the mindset and emotions you are nurturing in regard to the career you are in. Is it a good or a bad emotion that rise up within you when you think of work? If you feel lethargic or unhappy about it, you might want to consider a career change. Find a job that will fuel your passion so much so that you excel in your work output.

Keep in mind that a career change without determining the root of your dissatisfaction will only transfer your feelings to the next employment you will be enter. Are there negative associations in the field you are in, or past unfavorable experiences that color your views towards work? Sometimes that's all it is. Resolve the issues and associations that keep you from enjoying work and you don't need to find a job elsewhere.

Now, do you have a positive view of your career? If the job you have fully utilizes your talents, is something you believe in and is personally enjoyable-you will go to work happy. Working with this attitude will allow you to produce more which results in money and corresponding rewards.

You really don't need to look everywhere to change your life. The answer resides within you. You can make something beautiful out of any old situations that have been detrimental to your growth. Have a good attitude, thing good thoughts and begin to expect the best-you have the power to create the reality you so desire. - 22871
