By Hass67

If you want to do anything new in life, you have to first learn it. The same principle applies to forex trading. Forex trading without proper learning and no education is a sure recipe for disaster. If you want to trade forex than you need to first understand how the forex markets work.

Once, tennis used to be my passion. I wanted to play tennis but my returns were very poor. My volleys were horrible. I had a very poor serve.

So, I would do wall practice and practice and practice. In the beginning my ball control was very poor. My service was so poor that I would be ashamed to play with good players.

Everyday before entering the tennis court, I would imagine myself playing very well. Every defeat would strengthen my resolve to win. In six months, I had started defeating the good players who in the beginning did not consider me good.

Same principles apply to forex trading. Forex markets are like a battlefield. Everyday you will battle the currency markets. In the beginning the markets will defeat you. But with consistency and determination, you will slowly learn how to defeat the forex market.

A good forex trading course is must for you for understanding the forex markets and for future reference. Go through the course form finish to the start again and again, many times. Pause, ponder and think on every detail given in it.

You aim should be to master the behavior of the currency markets. You should train yourself for that. Learn Technical Analysis. It is the thing to learn for a successful day trader.

You should be the master of using indicators in your trading. Learn what type of indicators is lagging and what type of indicators is leading.

Know what is the support and resistance at that point. Develop your perspective about the market. You should understand depth what are SMAs, EMAs, MACD, Bollinger Bands etc and how to interpret price action through them. Understanding use of Pivot Points is must for you to predict whether the currency market is bearish or bullish.

Many traders dont give much importance to money management principles. Money management is the most important thing for a successful trader to know and understand. Never ever put more than 1% of your equity on risk in a single trade. - 22871
